High Falls SP is a nice park. We have a 38 ft motorhome class A. Narrow roads and steep, but just go slow. Very clean and well maintained. Ride e bikes down to the falls and some trails. Very hot here. 97 the 3 days here! This is our 3rd visit here. Verizon 2 bars.

I stayed here for one night in early April at River Camping Area site # 48. We got here late at night so we didn't have time to explore the campground much since it was raining hard the next day. Some of the sites around me had standing water because of the hard rain. We took a short walk before it started raining and the campground seemed pleasant overall.

I mentioned that the night before I had been at another State Park and it cost $27.00. I was also told that if you're camping you don't pay a daily fee. I told the host that $45 was more than I was willing to pay. I left. I feel like the host was ripping me off.

Nice folks working as camp hosts. Very attentive. They stopped by when they saw my awning deployed with a heads up regarding a forecast of high winds for the next day.
They call you the day before your arrival to see if you would like to check in early and pay the balance over the phone before arrival; and they provide the gate code for those who might arrive after the gates are close.
Only water and electric provided. My $28 daily fee included a 20% discount for ages 62 and older.

We stayed at site 81, nice pull through with lots of shade. No ATT service but Verizon was okay with 2 bars. There was a bit of what looked like poison oak around the site that may to troublesome with small kids. My girl is only 7 months so it was fine for us to avoid.

High Falls is a great campground! High Falls Lake and the Towliga River are beautiful and great to explore. Cell service (Verizon) was hit or miss. We will be camping here again!

Very quiet and nice spots. Hosts are nice. ATT cell service is horrible for trying to get work done. Even just basic emailing is a pain.
Probably just ATT though. If you’re looking to relax, this is a great campground.
Pretty steep downhill but paved road leading Into the campground.

We stayed in the river campsite. The map and name are misleading. It is on the river but it is a steep drop off and sort of a hike to get down to the water. #12 is a small spot but there is plenty of space around the site. Some sites the neighbors are close by but most of the sites have a good bit of room between the neighbors. Most of the sites are well shaded. There are some spots I would be worried about flooding if a heavy rain came through. Bath houses were clean and everything you expect at a state park.
We drove up to the damn and walked down the trail to the falls. It was beautiful. The hike was rough terrain and no handicap access. We took 5 children 5 and under down the trail and it was a little bit of a challenge in a few spots.
We wanted to fish but there was not great access near the camping sites.
We had a great time and the sites were nice but I don’t feel like I have to go back here again.

My kids loved this campground because we were right in a culdesac with 100 other kids. We loved the scenery and exploring nearby Indian Springs state park. The roads here are tight & one way. Be aware if you need to work, with a booster we only got 1 ATT bar, just enough for my husband to work. The room for the washer & dryer was a little sketchy. No working lights, the door was left open & there was a birds nest in the non operational water fountain - I was a little worried about snakes. Overall this is a decent SP but probably won’t top our favorites list due to the confusing set up with the offices and campgrounds split up, the right roads and minimal stores. Our site was also so unlevel our auto level system wouldn’t work.
