Getting here was a blast. We have adventure bikes and decided to take the back road in to the campground. If you do NOT want a long, narrow dirt road, do not enter from Hwy 421 on Mt Zion Road. Instead, drive from the other direction. We loved the dirt road!
The campground was easy to find. When you arrive, just pick anywhere to setup camp (if you have a cabin, not sure how to check in). They will come around at some point to talk and collect your money. We setup next to the creek and grabbed one of the many picnic tables (set it up close to our tents).
The bathrooms are very clean. The grounds are well kept as well. There is plenty of room for everyone so you do not need to worry about getting to close to your neighbors.

We opted to camp by the creek so we could hear it while we slept. There are several picnic tables around as well. If you do not like tent camping, there are also some cabins available.
We have been back more than once and will do so again each year.

Bohemian Rhapsody! Great place for rental cabins especially during COVID escapes from the totalitarian lockdown cities. ! Rock stars or VIPs can easily Fly in via helicopter to the Rock and Roll inspired community which has its own helipad. Bring your Honda side by side and roam freely upon the miles of highly manicured, leafy, floria abundant trails. Enjoy a cool skinny dip in the placid waters of pumpkin run creek. Bring friends and party the night away with adult beverages unencumbered in several beautifully landscaped and architecturally inspired planned parks. Attended one of the many live “Woodstock” styled free concerts and rub elbows with Joni Mitchel type rock stars. “The song to a Seagull” inspired me and my friend Gary to tears at the concert we attended. Love to rent there but pricey to buy. Unfortunately there is no community pool, golf course nor playground for the kids. Further, the snack shack at the concert venue wasn’t opened (built) yet and wanted a stone fired hemp-doe pizza. Incidentally, there was no bathroom either which made it more authentic to the original Woodstock festival; in the end we all slept in tents adjacent the woods by the MST trail . Trail Magic was generously given by some fabulous owners whilst included my favorite 12 year old scotch. This is a gated community, so privileged privacy is assured and cameras are on the gates to insure rock star levels of security. and community have well paved roads meandering miles. Take time to drive the miles of paved private roadways through the picturesque and majestic mountains. Overall a great place to party like it’s 1999!
