We just needed a site for the night. Kind, helpful family runs it and gave us all the info we needed and helped me back into my site. The bath house was clean. Nice laundry facility and sink that came in handy to was my dogs’ paws. Other campers were friendly and seemed to be enjoying the place.

This clean and green, small park is about 4 miles off interstate 88. Grovenors Corners road is a bit narrow, and we swiped a few tree branches. Janice Lane is also narrow but the trees are high. The campground has a nice, curved entrance that makes it easy to enter. Hide-A-Way is a very pretty, well manicured park with lots of grass and trees. When we pulled in the owner, Paul, promptly greeted us and introduced himself. His wife, Kim, appeared a few minutes later. Both are just delightful, warm people. Paul led us to our site on the nicely graveled interior roads. We had one of the two pull thru sites. They are right next to each other, and luckily for us, no one was in the second site. Both sites are gravel and pretty level. The utilities worked great. There are quite a lot of tent sites behind the pull thru sites so things could be quite “active” during the high season. It was very quiet when we were here, and we slept marvelously. The spacing between all the sites is very generous separated by grass so there is no privacy. Many sites are tiered so there may be some leveling involved. There are quite a lot of seasonals, and their sites are neat and tidy. Satellite is possible as some sites are in the open, and others are backed up to trees. They don’t have cable. WI-FI, unfortunately, did not work - we couldn’t even connect. Verizon was 4g 1-2 bars although 5g 1 bar popped up every now and again. Our Verizon hot spots worked but a bit on the slow side. Paul stopped us on our way out to make sure everything was ok with our stay, and to share some hints on the route back to the interstate. The owners are an unquestionable asset as well as the shipshape grounds. We would definitely stay here again.

A very quiet place away from the highway with not many campers. The lady in the office was exceptionally nice. The only reason I did not give it a five-star is that you have to narrow hilly roads with branches overhanging to get to this campground.

We were looking for a camp site near a particular water fall hike. This is a very nice little place with very reasonable prices. The store was nicely kept and all staff Were friendly and nice. I felt comfortable staying here during COVID as they take the precautions seriously. My spouse said the restrooms and showers were nice. Free wifi. Site cost included elec and water, but ours also came with sewer. Nicely kept pool, though some might say it is small. There is a Hannaford grocery with in 15 minutes.

Long sites with crushed stones. Winding narrow road to get to it. Site backed onto playground so had noise until 6pm drowning out our DVD despite shutting windows, Most campers are long term around the perimeter. Water/electric only. Has dump site.

It is just minutes from Howe Cavern, Secret Cavern and a Superwalmart. Cobleskill is a quaint, small town about 15 minutes away and Albany is about 40 minutes away. We had a great salad for lunch at the Bull's Head Inn (built in 1802) in Cobleskill. Sites are easy to get in and out of but not all sites are level - ours wasn't.

A last minute stop for us while traveling through NY. We needed a place to stop on Labor Day weekend and they had a cancellation so we pulled in at the end of the night. This was a reasonable stop, considering there are few places to stay near this stretch of highway. They had a gigantic bonfire that night which was amazing. The interior road that loops through the park has some large trees that need to be trimmed as they scratched our 38 ft fifth wheel slightly. The staff was nice and this was a simple, older park with a camp store in the office and a pool. Our site had the water hook-up in the rear and we had to connect multiple hoses...but we had the last available site.
