Overall Rating
2 years ago the dam broke and washed out access to the best sites just across a small creek. You can still use google to get you to the lake and a couple of ok sites. However, If you turn right immediately after the first cattle gate, you can make your way around the far side of the lake and over to the nicer spots. It takes about 20minutes to do so. It was quiet mid week with only 2 other campers around the lake. Picnic tables and an outhouse was available.

Overall Rating
The eve lake forest road is blocked right before the campground off the 5. There might have been a way around but it was late and the gravel roads were rough so we turned around and boondocked on the gravel pit off the highway. Mosquitos were insane!
