The showers and toilets were clean and great and the laundry was very nice.

Pleasantly surprised. It’s pricey but clean and worth it. Very quiet, away from hustle and bustle. Great staff. Brand new large dog area. Would stay again

As others have stated, this property became a KOA at the beginning of the 2019 season. However, it's currently a KOA in name only -- even their maps still say Lincoln Road RV Park. It lacks the amenities you'd expect from a KOA: No tent sites, no cabins, no fenced dog area, no cable TV, dated restrooms. None of those things are important to us, so we didn't miss them, but they should be charging less until those things are in place. Our price reflects 10% discount with KOA membership.
That being said, the property is very clean and well maintained. The sites are level, long, and gravel with a concrete patio, picnic table, and really nice grass. Those that have stated it's a gravel parking lot are exaggerating a bit -- we've stayed in an actual gravel parking lot and this is not that. The employees are all very nice and helpful. The wifi works pretty good, which is a bonus seeing as we had terrible cell reception, even with a booster -- good enough to make calls and texts, but was intermittently dependable for anything more than that. There's a gas station/market a block up the road that has a deli counter and is sufficient for necessities. Location is great -- very close to I-15 and you can get anywhere in Helena in about 15 minutes. Laundry worked great and we were able to fill our propane. Helena is a great city to visit and we felt safe staying here and leaving our trailer to explore.
If we were to pass through Helena again, we would stay here.

This RV park is a KOA now and I think they are in the midst of some improvements
We had a nice long pull thru site and super strong and fast WiFi
The park is basically a gravel parking lot. But the staff is friendly, other campers friendly and while the common areas and bathrooms are dated they are incredibly clean.
The park is 8 miles or so from downtown Helena and only 5 miles or so from shopping.
Our favorite thing on this stop was hiking MT Helena!

Surprise, this is now a KOA Park. We came here because all other CGs in/around the city of Helena were either a) too far away b) a CG full of full-timers, or c) a Fairgrounds with nobody there (plus didn’t feel good about the safety of it). Welcome to Helena-KOA—. Helpful hosts, clean showers/bathrooms. Gravel pads, mostly level. Daytime road noise, quieter at night. There is some type of big equipment business in the back of the park, however we were out and about and they stopped around 5:30.
Owner will accept Good Sam membership this year only (2019), because Lincoln RV Park was a Good Sam Park. 2020 it will be KOA specific. Nice place to be to visit the capital city of Montana.
They like reservations but as a ‘drop-in’, we were very nicely and politely accommodated. Internet pretty good. Haven’t tried the TV, but I suspect OTA channels to be ok. They also sell propane.

Prior reviews showed a site price of approximately $42/night. I was informed by the staff person at the campground that the rates are not $60+/night because of the new KOA affiliation. Pretty pricey for an area with so many choices. We did not stay here and cannot comment on the quality of the park.

A quiet location, not terribly far from shopping and downtown. The staff is what did it for us - extremely friendly and helpful, helping us find a truck wash and recommendations for dinner. Easy shot to shopping and great coffee just around the corner.

It's a nice campground with a convenient location for access to Helena and the surrounding area. The park is very clean and well maintained. The staff are all super friendly. No noise problems at all.
There is a grassy space with a tree for shade between each site. They water it every night, so the grass is nice and green (don't leave your stuff outside overnight, or it will get wet). There is an area to walk dogs, and there is a large grassy area at the back of the park if you want space for kids to run around. Each site has a picnic table but no fire ring (assuming because there are often fire bans). Bathrooms and laundry are available, but we didn't use them, so I can't comment on the condition. They also sell propane, but it's a bit overpriced.
Wifi is available, and while it isn't fast, it was enough for general browsing. If you need faster speeds, I was getting ~75 mbps down and 8 mpbs up with Verizon. We used Verizon for work video calls and the Wifi for everything else.
All of that said, it's still an RV park. If you're looking for a destination for camping alone, you'll probably be happier somewhere east along the water or south in the mountains. We were visiting family in Helena, so we wanted something that was nearby. This place was perfect for that. You're 10-15 min from downtown Helena. You're also right along Rt 15, so it's a good stopover if you're just passing through for a night. A lot of people seem to only stay for a day or two max, so that's probably how they're using it.
No pokestops in the campground, but the gas station less than a mile down the road has 2.

In town for a swim meet downtown. Skipped another place down the road that was a dump. We have a small trailer and used to boondocking so no hookups needed. This place is very clean and the people are super nice.
