So as far as the place it’s in a nice location and it’s right on the river. It’s definitely one of those campgrounds people go to to party hard. My husband and I don’t mind this for the most part and are pretty easy going. However the folks that run it are rude and not hospitable at all. Then when I went up to take a shower at night some creep came bargIng in the women’s shower room half drunk and saying that my husband and I couldn’t be in the shower room together. My husband had been standing outside the shower to make sure everything was okay bc it was night time. When I got out of the shower and was walking out he helped me grab my shower bag and towels but never came in to the shower room. He had walked to the car with my stuff and when I had just turned to make sure I had everything that’s when the creepy guy came barging in slurring saying this was a family place and he would call the cops????? At first I had no clue what he was talking about but when I figured it out and tried to tell him that my husband had not been in there he talked over me and said he would call the cops and kick us out. I was so shocked at all of this craziness I was speechless. Needless to say I won’t be staying here ever again! The city of Columbus needs to choose better caretakers!!

Fishing lake well used n spring feed with large mouth bass, required fishing permit available on line. Fire rings. Open May one to October one then county shuts off water. These folks have been here 11 years and do a great job but like so many public and private parks cost outweighs the income. But it’s real good. We would like being here longer. Also a outlet mall and restaurants 1 mile away at entrance. Site 1 is a dream site.

Convenient to I-65 for a quick stopover.
Two bars for Verizon voice and data here but we had no issues streaming Netflix.
Fayontherun would stay here again
