Heber Springs Campground

Nice lake views, peaceful, safe campground. Lakeside sites are limited but all the spots are spacious and shaded. There is a little area at the end of area D that you can walk down to the rock beach. Also sand beach within bike riding distance.
Bring a long water hose. The only realistic watering spot is right next to the one dump station. This causes a line of people coming in and leaving.
Decent cell signal.

The only reason we rated this 4 instead of 5 was because water was available but not for hookup at the campsites and the bathrooms were a bit of a hike away, probably about 300yds. We think we were the only people that walked to the bathroom but we enjoyed the exercise. The sunsets over the lake are gorgeous. Heber Springs is just a few miles down the road and it has a nice grocery store and a Walmart as well. We were only able to get a few PBS stations our TV and with our Verizon cell service we got 4G 4 bars and 3G 3 bars (with booster). The price we paid was with the senior pass. FYI: the bathroom/shower lights turn on automatically at dusk so if you get there and are in the dark, just wait a few more minutes and the lights will come on.
Noise was a 4 only because of the boats on the lake, otherwise it was quiet.
