Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center

We chose to stay east of Oklahoma City at the fairgrounds to keep us away from the city. The city does have a number of RV parks, however. During our stay at the fairgrounds, the more than 100 sites in our area were empty except for one in the corner. There are long, gravel pull thru and back in sites. Most are in the open but there was a row under the trees for shade. Sites were all newly graveled prior to our arrival. All sites are FHU. Finding the office was rather tricky, The laundry and rest rooms were locked during our visit. I'm sure there probably was a way to get use of some facilities. The main part of the fairgrounds in the front with the RV Park in the back by itself making for a quiet stay. We had excellenct WiFi which was a surprise. The town of Shawnee was right around the corner with all the stores one would need.
