Large campground south of Yellowstone and north of Grand Teton. We used this campground to access the southern loop of Yellowstone since we could not get a site in Yellowstone. Sites were good size, spacing was fair, and mostly level. Full hookups, but the sewer hookups are very high, almost a foot off the ground. They have a side port that’s not quite as high, but the threads on mine were messed up. Got staff to help, and they got them fixed, but still high and had to “slinky” it out when dumping. Forest around the campground was burnt a few years ago, so it’s not appealing driving in. Finding the campground was a little difficult as there was very minimal signage driving in the complex. It’s across from the gas station. Gas prices here was darn near the cheapest the entire trip. We made sure to fill up! Staff checking in was helpful. Staff helping with the sewer issue was moody. The lodge next to the campground was really nice and they have great Wi-Fi open to the public 24/7. No t-mobile cell coverage. Would not say it was worth the $100 per night fee, but when it’s the only option, they can charge what they want.

$20 burgers
$4.50 for a wash
$3.50 for dry
Dirty Showers that don't drain but they are hot.
Poorly drained dirt sites
We needed facilities after a week back country so it made sense but your better off going into the villages in Yellowstone.
Far cheaper.

All of the comments about the dust are true. This is a dusty place. All the roads are dirt and even cars or golf carts traveling slowly are going to kick up dust. Dust will cover everything you own. That being said we actually really liked this campground. It was well laid out with lots of trees. Bathrooms were conveniently located with clean hot showers. There is a nice laundry facility near the front office. On each bathroom building there was also a dish washing station with hot water, which was nice for those of us with small water tank capacities, as well as for the tent campers. Each site had a large bear box to keep outside cooking items and food - anything with a scent. It was nice to have this option to keep things outside safely without having to bring things in and out of the RV. Workers were very courteous, friendly and helpful. We had amazingly good internet and cell service through our Verizon jetpack. There is a very nice and easy hiking trail down to the Snake River behind the campground. We went here daily and really enjoyed it, especially our dog. There is a sandy beach area and a rocky beach area. The restaurant in the nearby lodge is good, too. It was nice to have this amenity nearby when we wanted a night off from cooking and cleaning up. Pulling in to the campground, there is a convenience store, gift shop, the restaurant, and gas/diesel and propane. We liked being between Grand Teton and Yellowstone as we could travel to either park each day depending on what we were in the mood for. If they could put down some gravel on the roads to reduce the dust I might consider giving this one a 5 star rating. The price was a little high also, but we would definitely stay here again if in the area. Overall we were pleased and enjoyed our stay.

Extremely expensive at $104/night after taxes and whatever other fees there are but what else do you expect given the location. It was a nice campground anyway, lots of shade and very full of course. Showers were free and clean. Surprisingly had cell signal with Verizon and could stream movies at night.

The primary purpose of this post is to let folks know that we had wonderful connectivity with Verizon. Sorry, I spaced off running a speed test. :( However, I am a YouTube consumer and I watched all the vids I wanted with no lag et al.
Price reflects senior pass rate.
