We stayed here 2 nights. Windy the first day which kept the bugs away and beautiful the next day. Still no bugs until evening. They accept donations. The fish hatchery is right there and people were catching fish. Kids would love it. Lots of spaces and mostly level. There are 2 pit toilets. My husband used it and said it was fine.

Open May 15 - October 31, free but donations are accepted and managed by Idaho Fish and Game. On site is a small working hatchery, a fishing lagoon and a short nature hike along a steam. There is a 10 day camping limit.
Many camped here were fishermen fishing the local rivers. There appeared to be a camp host, but we did not see anyone. The pit toilets were not stocked. Potable water and trash available.
Our stay was on the windy side, so we did not have a problem with mosquitos.

The marsh lands around the campground produce hoards of mosquitoes. We couldn’t really enjoy the beautiful evening because the mosquitoes were so bad.
Little to no cell service for Verizon. Starlink worked great.
We would camp here again if passing through.

Grassy sites that were quite wet and muddy when we visited. Some of the others at the campground didn’t seem to want to follow the rules so there were some free roaming dogs. Also generators running all night.

Easy to find, was able to pull our 40 foot fifth wheel through without issues. Lots of firepits and plenty of room. Dogs welcome but must be leashed. Very pretty views and nice fishing spots around.

Beautiful Mountain View, people spaced out enough, laid back and plenty to do in the area. Easy access for larger rigs (saw one setup pull in that made ours look like a smart car). We’re only staying long enough to pick up a package in Bellevue but ended up staying full stretch.

We went to Craters of the Moon to check it out and hoped to have a campsite there (first come, first serve), but the only site large enough to accommodate our rig was taken. So we finished touring the park (highly recommend - lots of neat little trails to explore) and drove on looking for a place to stay the night. We stayed here June 3, 2022.
We found this campground and what a gem. Easy access, lots of pull-thru sites, although nothing marked. All grassy areas, some trees between sites. Most sites had a fireplace, some had a picnic table. The grass was overgrown but not a big deal. No hookups, toilet on site, but I didn't use it.
Quiet and peaceful. There is a pond and creek for fishing and a nature trail.
I had great cell service.

Quick overnight stop on our way home. Half the area is closed for construction. Plenty of room in the other half even with about twenty other units. I could could see staying here for several days. We were across from the fishing pond and would like to try it in the future.

We stayed here with two other friends with big fifth wheels and HDTs (heavy duty trucks). We had no issues. The road in to the campground from the highway is paved, the campground itself has gravel roads. You can park anywhere, it's like a big field in the middle (great for pull-thru) and back-ins on both sides. We were able to pull around in a big circle to park our rig instead of backing in. Fortunately there's been no rain for quite some time, otherwise it might be sketchy, we're really heavy.
Big rigs take note - DO NOT go in the first entrance. Its a sharp turn in and then a downhill and turn. Very tight to maneuver and you might damage something underneath. Take the road a little further past the campground area and come in the second entrance. Much flatter and easier. It's all dry camping, and they take donations.
Mosquitoes were out in force in June, be prepared.
