“Quiet campground in quiet park”

Overall Rating

We stayed for 5 nights. The campground is near the lake with a trail to the beach area about 1/2 mile away. Most of the non-electric sites were empty. Those sites had more privacy than the electric sites but the electric sites were much more private than any RV park. The sites were mostly level and big enough for our 25 foot trailer. The shower rooms were very clean.

We rented a canoe ($15 for 1/2 day) and toured the lake. The beach area is a regional attraction but still not very busy.

Yes, there are mosquitoes. You'll need lots of bug spray or a fogger to spend time outside. Virtually no cell service (ATT)
