Hay U Ranch RV Resort

This is not an RV resort this isn't even a decent camp ground. This is an old poorly maintain park. Most of the people are seasonal or permanent residents. Their lawn mower and weed eater must be broken. There is a sign that says you need to boil you water. The place sits right next to the highway and the train tracks are right behind the park. The place is a dump. Check out the pictures. i would not stay here again.

We stumbled on this RV park unexpectedly over the Labor Day weekend. I think this is a little known RV park because I haven't see any advertisements. The sites were level, great water pressure, clean bathrooms and showers, the property manager was very nice. This park gives me the feel of a small family owned RV park.

Do note that there is a train track across the river from the campground. We arrived after sunset and didn't notice the track until a train came by. I think there were 2 trains that came through after midnight. I deducted one star on the "Noise" review because of the train. Other than the train, this place was quiet.

If the trains don't bother you, you'll love the park itself. There is Wifi which we connected to, but the signal was weak. Luckily we had cell reception, our provider in the states is TMobile.

Note that the price of $30 is Canadian. We only had US currency, so they accepted $25 US cash.

We liked the park so much we stopped there again on our return trip. If you have a clear night, you'll enjoy great star gazing because of the very limited light polution. We will be returning to this park.
