When I stayed there, there was no fee due to the campground being closed for the season. It’s my understanding that they also allow overnight dry camping in their large gravel parking lot which I would have gladly stayed in if I could not find a spot.

Camping is free in this USFS campground during the off season when all of the campground services are shut off and/or locked. Convenient access to Grand Teton National Park. Near two separate gas stations and country stores. The campground is a little tight, so go slow. Full size rigs can fit into a couple spots near the entrance or in the parallel sites in what looks like a large gravel parking lot (to the right as you enter). The only downside is the traffic noise from Hwy 26. Bear boxes available.
There are some primo dispersed camping sites just a bit further up the national forest road beside the campground.

There is a dump station 2.7 miles further up the road at a Philips 66 station. They charge $10 to dump. The campground is ok but it’s really only a way station to better things. Unlike the others we had no issues with mosquitos.

The overflow area is right next to the highway and costs $10/night. I felt it's overpriced and drove up to the mountain from the path next to the pit toilet. Turns out there are a few free spots along the road and some were taken. I ended up high with nice Teton view, for free.

Note: lots of mosquitoes. I don't think this is particularly unique to this campground as the climate and geography of the area make it an ideal home for skeeters. Bring bug dope, clothing layers, and maybe even a screened patio tent.

Campground was full when we arrived, so we opted for the overflow lot for the night. Rate reflects senior pass rate. Nothing more than a gravel lot (there were no picnic tables when we camped here in mid-June, 2020). The lot was just off the highway, but it was quiet at night. It served it's purpose for us. We used it as a base to find boondocking in the area which we were able to with the help of the camp host and a ranger.
The campground looked fine. There are certainly a few spots which would accommodate our 34 foot fifth wheel, though it could be tight. No dump here but we were able to fill our water tank here.
Certainly was just fine for an overnight stay for a small fee.

This "campground" is about 8 miles from Moran and the Grand Teton National Park border, but about 30-40 miles from most things you would want to do in Grand Teton. That said, it was late in the day and we knew we wouldn't get a FCFS site that late, so we stopped here for the night.
The mosquitos were swarming like crazy. Even though it was cool outside, we ran the generator for a while because they were coming in the window screens.
The campsites were situated in a circle and all full, so we went in the overflow lot and we had hoped to grab a minute of cell coverage to write some emails. But, there was barely enough Verizon signal with or without a booster to even make a phone call.
The lot is a big unattractive gravel lot. Cars/RVs came in all through the night and by early morning, it was pretty full. There are beautiful forest service sites a little further east that we should have stayed at since this didn't meet either of our goals - being close enough to Grand Teton to do things and having enough cell signal to call/email.
Our rate reflects the nat. parks pass rate. The overflow lot was listed as $10, while the sites with hookups in the CG were $12. The overflow lot should be free given that there is very little value you receive for staying there.
Our rate reflects nat. parks, pass

It also has a very large overflow parking area on the other side of the road for large RV’s we stayed in one of the pull troughs but we should have stayed in the overflow lot. The overflow lot was the only place to get cell service and satellite TV. They do have water and a heated Pit toilet but the misquotes were terrible in the main campground. There is a lot of Boondocking up the road too if you want to go up the narrow road.

This overflow lot is 8 miles from the Moran Junction. You have a ranger station to your east and a resort with fine dining and gas pumps to your west. We had three bars for AT&T and Verizon.
It is only $10 a night in the overflow lot. The camp host is right next door with eyes on your rig, which is nice because we plan to be hiking and sightseeing almost every day. The camp host couple has been doing this for three years and are the nicest people. You have access to water, garbage and recycling. There very clean pit toilets.
You are right next to the highway, but the noise was barely noticeable. This is grizzly country, so you will want your bear spray.
This will be our “Goto Spot” anytime we return to the Teton Area.
