I've become a regular here. It's easy to get off and stay here. They welcome RV parking. There is some space in the paved parking lot between the hotel and the restaurant, but honestly, it's best if you can get into the auxiliary parking behind the bushes that line the back of the paved lot. It's quiet and no traffic noise. You have to know how to get there or let a security patrol know that you want to get back there and they can open the gate for you at the hotel end. There is ample space behind the gas station, but this can be blocked off during busy travel times (i.e. holidays) as extra parking for travelers during business hours.
The BBQ joint in the gas station store is great. There's a family deal for $100 which works great for my family, although you do need to pick up no later than 8pm, I think, so it's not for the late arriving people.
Gas is rather expensive here, but I try to fill up since they are letting me use the space for free.

Tried out the Express BBQ takeout, it was expensive and not all that good but I still think people should support the business in exchange for a free stay. The Shell gas station prices were outrageously high so I recommend fueling up elsewhere.

This was very good for a one-night stop. I drove in to the main hotel parking lot, which was like a courtyard-type setting. It felt very safe. Security and staff were routinely driving through the lot. There were a few other RVs there, too. I got food from the express BBQ, which was actually at the Shell station next to the “resort.” The food was very good, and it looked like there may be more parking available in that area in a dirt lot. The only issue I had, which was totally out of anybody’s control, was having the RV windows open while, at one point, the winds must’ve shifted and blown very strong cow odor our way.
It didn’t last too long and was fine afterward, but, without running AC, and the weather being warm, we briefly wondered if we needed to leave. I stayed and the odor cleared up. Everything was good and I left in the morning.

We arrived on a Sunday around 18:30. Turned In where there is an express area to eat. Many signs saying NoTruck Parking and No Parking period.
We went down to the regular parking area for the restaurant and saw 6 RV’s parked taking up numerous single parking sites. Stopped and spoke to a man who had been here numerous times. He told us there was no access to the dirt road in the back. Saw a huge sign saying that a RV PARK coming December 2023.
We took our dogs for a walk on the dirt road as it was easy to walk through the hedge and trees. Discovered that you could enter that dirt road if you turned in past the last hedge after the hotel. We moved back there, no one else came. You can make a loop that goes up and around. The road in has a few small potholes but if you go slow it’s no problem.
Is was very quiet, there was a dirt road through the pecan orchard where we walked our dogs. They were putting up a solar area nearby and showed up the next day.

RVs are allowed and welcomed. Soon to be an RV park it seems (December 2023). Friendly security staff directed us to where we were allowed to park given many other RVs already parked here. Great for an overnight stop.

Good one night stay, wouldve been great except for the fact that we parked in the lot area between the restaurant and hotel. Around 11pm a drunk couple decided it would be a fun idea to push our little travel trailer to make it rock back and forth. They didnt seem to think we were inside it. I recommend parking instead at one of the side areas away from the middle lot where people walk back and forth until around 1am.
Except for that drunk couple it was a good one night stay and we’d stay again!
Tip: Check the satellite view before arriving to get an idea of the parking lot. We called in advance and youre allowed to park anywhere as long as you dont block any cars in. Its okay to take up multiple spaces.

The place has signs that say “No Trucks” all over the place, and security was actively escorting a truck out of there when we showed up and pulled through to check it out. We did see some super small camper vans and things there, but they were parked in regular parking spaces. We have a long bed truck and a 39 ft 5th wheel so we definitely weren’t fitting.
