There were a few other RV's camping here during our stay and plenty of sites to choose from. We found a spot towards the back that had plenty of sun until the end of the week when the clouds and the cold sent us packing to a nearby RV park. There were a few other RV's camping here during our stay and plenty of sites to choose from. We found a spot towards the back that had plenty of sun until the end of the week when the clouds and the cold sent us packing to a nearby RV park.
For us the biggest downside to this location is the fine powder dirt sites. It's the kind of dirt that clings to your clothes, tracks in your RV and something to be avoided in the rain.
We walked every day through the neighborhoods and saw horses and deer. Overall, it was a nice quiet stay.
There is a Glacier water machine (.40 cents/gallon) on the North side of the Rays Market near the recycling center.
The Chevron/McDonald's across the road from Rays Market has propane and diesel and allowed us to fill our 5 gallon water jugs on two separate occasions when we purchased fuel/propane. The water spigot is right next to the propane tank.

Truly lovely two night stay here. Very spacious between other campers and lots of room for our skoolie. It was peaceful and wonderful. So glad we decided to stop.

I checked out a few other spots before deciding on this one- and I'm glad I did. There were maybe three RVs parked in this huge space but it is such a big space that I could barely see them. There were maybe three RVs parked in this huge space but it is such a big space that I could barely see them. It was easy to find and I had many sites to choose from- even on a weekend after arriving late in the evening.
Lots of dust and dirt but I slept like a baby in my tent. I could hear the highway but it still felt secluded- the stars and milky way were stunning!
Highly recommend.

We stayed about a month at the Bend/Sisters RV resort---a very nice place, but pricey. We couldn't stay into the Memorial day weekend so we were looking for a boondocking spot nearby in the Bend/Sisters area. We do have a big rig, so it can be challenging finding space on a forest road that doesn't involve squeezing between trees. L... more
We stayed about a month at the Bend/Sisters RV resort---a very nice place, but pricey. We couldn't stay into the Memorial day weekend so we were looking for a boondocking spot nearby in the Bend/Sisters area. We do have a big rig, so it can be challenging finding space on a forest road that doesn't involve squeezing between trees. Lo and behold, right behind the RV resort is the Harrington road loop, which is BLM land. There is plenty of spots, fire rings, open spots for our solar panels to soak up the beautiful Oregon sunshine and close enough to Bend and Sisters for shopping and movies

This area was amazing. Super close to a dump site in sisters and laundry facility. Clean area. Nice trails. This area can accommodate any size rig or setup.
Con- someone stole my remote control airplane. He must have needed more than I.... he must have had a small wiener.
