“State Park Setting”

Overall Rating
We stayed here 3 nights in a 44' motorhome. The roads are winding and narrow, not sure what would happen if meeting another rv coming in or going out, luckily it didn't happen. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here. We were escorted to our space and he even helped setting us up. The first space we were in (#12) was not good for satellite reception, so we called in the morning and asked if we could move to the next space and they said sure, and we got great reception. Yes you have to ride a ferry getting in and out of the park, but it only takes a few minutes. The park reminds us of a state park with full hook-ups and that is a setting that we like. Wifi is only in the office and did not use, we used our phone data from the site and it was great.

“TERRIBLE CAMPGROUND”

THEY STUCK US IN A "SITE" IN THEIR OVERFLOW PARKING. PUT OUR FRIENDS MOTORHOME RIGHT ACROSS FROM US. WHEN THEY STEPPED OUT OF THEIR RIG, IT WAS A DROP INTO A DITCH. THEY PUT ANOTHER RIG RIGHT NEXT TO US, WE COULD ALMOST TOUCH THEIR RIG FROM OUR RIG. THERE WERE TREES AT THE BACK, AND NOT REALIZING UNTIL LATER, THE TREES TORE THE ROOFING ON OUR RV. EXPENSIVE REPAIR FOR US. THEY HAD MUSIC ON SUNDAY NIGHT THAT LASTED TILL 2 AM. THEN WE LISTENED TO EVERYONE STAGGER BACK TO THEIR RIGS. THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THAT WEEKEND WAS THE FERRY RIDE. NEVER EVER WILL WE GO BACK THERE AGAIN, AND WE TELL EVERYONE WE KNOW THAT CAMPS TO NOT GO THERE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY EVEN HAVE A GOOD SAM RATING.
