The electricity needs work. Debbie said they are going to put new ground and neutral lines because a class A bud burned them up. I checked the lines at my site with a Fluke multimeter. Both the neutral and ground wires at the plug were intermittent. That won’t work so I’d steer clear of this park until they get that done. That type of fault can be very dangerous for electronics and especially for people with metal skin RVs. I gave an overall rating because of electricity issues. Otherwise it woul be a four.

The lady who helped us check in was super friendly. They had a laundry room with three washers and three dryers but we were unable to use them as they were already being used and it was almost closing time. We had cell service but I forgot to look at how many bars I had. Let’s just say, my call didn’t get dropped, so that was good! We have a 36ft fifth wheel and were able to pull through with no problems.

Not a bad park for one night. Sites were tight but I felt safe. Park has many contractors which I was worried about noise but not a problem. Everyone respected the quiet hours. It is not fancy but will be a do again if I am in the area.

There weren’t many guests with us.

The on site folks keep the camp grounds clean but the owners set up the camp like a parking lot see photos out the windows of our camper. We couldn’t even put out our awning or watch our outside tv, no room. The site has limited gravel. The owners are putting in as little as possible. We wouldn’t want to be there if it rains. The campers are parked in a circle so you have to walk to the middle dead grass circle across the inside driving circle in front of the campers to use a picnic table. So the tables are not used. I feel bad for the management having to work with such a poorly laid out park grounds.

Site seemed pretty level - we didn’t bother to do anything but run the slide out and put down the stabilizers. Really good WiFi signal and all the major TV networks available over the air. Only downside is that the gravel is really thin. Not a problem as it was dry, but might result in muddy site. Mike says they are still renovating the park and new gravel is in the plans. This was a very pleasant place to stay overnight as we headed west.

We stayed in a 32’ motor home with a Jeep toad. This campground will be a great overnight stay once the construction is done. The hosts Carl and Debbie were very friendly and helpful in getting us a great site. It is very quiet, I didn’t even hear a train! The daily rates are $20-25, weekly $120-150, the monthly $400-425. I hope he doesn’t get many monthlies or permanent squatters. That would ruin the campground for people passing through. The WIFI was excellent! We had no trouble streaming movies. There are restaurants within walking distance if you want to stay hooked up. We didn’t check out the restrooms or showers. We were traveling from Scottsdale to Austin, this was a convenient place to stop for the night. The only negative I have is until they have more gravel this could get pretty messy if it rains. Carl was expecting 100 tons of rock to be delivered this week. Also they need to get the location shown better for us that travel with a GPS.
