No where on their website do they list breed restrictions. We have never been denied. We have a trained GSD. She left my reservation in the middle of booking. Very rude and unprofessional.

I loved camping here! It was a very hot weekend so it was nice that there was a pool! It’s in a great location. About 30 minutes from Kenosha. We stayed in a tent site and it was spacious and very peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our initial shakedown trip with a new camper. Everyone was friendly. Activities really add to the price and the place is in dire need of updating everywhere. Quiet in the evenings and early mornings. The “petting zoo” advertised is hardly a petting zoo. We couldn’t even touch the animals and all of them looked unhappy and in need of better care. We had 50amp service with power and water. Dump station available. Public bathrooms were clean. Pool area was clean. Would stay again if we just wanted to get away for the weekend and stay close to home. WiFi sucked! We couldn’t get any internet unless we were standing in the office area.

Bristol, WI – Happy Acres
We stayed at this family campground for a week in late August 2018 and over Labor Day weekend. It was not very busy until the weekend. It is very much geared towards families and kids although it could use some updating. We were in site 205, a back in site that was perpendicular to the other sites in the row. Our site was not very level. It had 20/30/50 amp service, water, and picnic table. No sites had sewer but if you stay a week they give you 1 honey wagon dump plus they have a dump site. It’s a large campground with different sections. We did not visit the bathrooms so have no info on those. The laundry room at the main building was small with 2 washers, 2 dryers and $2 each load, each machine. Wifi was pretty good, Verizon was 4G 2-3 bars.. Staff was OK, mostly young adults. They have quite a few animals and birds there to visit. This campground was convenient for our attendance at the Bristol Renaissance Faire but I don’t know if we would stay there again. We paid $55/night and $330/wk.

****UPDATE**** May - August 2019*****
Many new updates, LOTS of fun stuff for kids to do - Pond with swimming and giant lily pad floaters. The kids love them! Pool is clean and tidy. Trees and landscaping are trimmed and very nice. Bathrooms are dated, but very clean at all times! Very impressed. The new owners take pride in their work and are very busy! They are doing upgrades about every week - New roof on main bathhouse. Very accommodating when receiving packages and friendly in the office and out by the campsite. We stayed here 2 1/2 months and will be back! Monthly rate $850. Very good rate for 50 amps and water. Pump out every week free of charge.
