The campground was very secured, sites were very clean and the camp host was awesome. Made me feel very welcomed and safe as a first time solo camper! I stayed on site 77, which was really nice. After taking a walk around the campground, I wish I would’ve taken site 61, as it has a small hill behind it that I walked up with my dog for ... more
The campground was very secured, sites were very clean and the camp host was awesome. Made me feel very welcomed and safe as a first time solo camper! I stayed on site 77, which was really nice. After taking a walk around the campground, I wish I would’ve taken site 61, as it has a small hill behind it that I walked up with my dog for the sunset both nights. Really enjoyed this campground and I will be back!

Tent camper. I thought the Reservation Only section was a bit nicer than the FF area, but lots of good sites to be found. Some of the pit toilets shown on the map were decommissioned but in those spots porta-potties were provided. But there are a number of newer pit toilets. Lots of access to potable water. I thought the Reservation Only section was a bit nicer than the FF area, but lots of good sites to be found. Some of the pit toilets shown on the map were decommissioned but in those spots porta-potties were provided. But there are a number of newer pit toilets. Lots of access to potable water.
I was there during the week and it wasn’t busy at all, but since the campground is in a bowl it might get noisy if it is busy (I did notice sound was traveling pretty good).

Great spot. Huge, clean sites. I think site 81 is the best in the campground. Super flat with tons of big trees for shade. Very clean, no glass or trash. If I had to complain, the picnic tables are the standard forest service issued tables with super low seats and barely any leg room for taller folks. The host was really friendly ... more
