Halfmoon Creek North Dispersed Camping area is a small section of BLM land that utilizes a private road. Please note the signs stating this so that the area can continue to be enjoyed.
Forest Road 152 does not require high clearance but does have a few pot holes. In all there are 5 sites along the left side of the road looking from the entrance. The right side is private property. One site in particular is large enough for 2 trailers to occupy it.
The end of the road has a small turn around prior to entering private property. This is large enough for a travel trailer the size of a Casita to turn. I do not recommend trailers larger than 24 feet to enter the road, unless you are good at backing up.
We found the sites to have 3 bars of Verizon 4G with 60 megabit download speed.
The sites overlook a field below the foot of Mount Massive. For those looking for less through traffic than that of Halfmoon Creek South, this is a wonderful choice.
