Rolled in around noonish mid-june, a few of the sites were filled but we picked a cute one with a staircase leading up to a picnic table. Hike the Blue Lake trail there and had a nice time hiking back knowing we already had a campsite reserved waiting for us.

Had kids with us so we didn’t get to the end, but it throughly kicked our butts! Lots of trees in the sites and we set up the hammocks and the dogs slept. The last 3-4 miles is very rough. I wouldn’t go in a low cleanse vehicle. I was in a Honda Odyssey van and it was almost too low. It was quiet and peaceful. I’ll go again. Probably not in the motorhome (23’) I’d go car camping due to the rough roads. NO cell service.

Beautiful camp site with good Forest Service quality (Montana style) camp sites. Very lush area and very busy. The camp was full by mid day Friday in July 2018 and multiple campers cruised thru looking for sites after that. You can possibly park and camp in a few small overflow areas for boondocks. Great trail and beautiful creek to walk to short distance from camp. You have to travel 10-15 miles of dirt roads to get there with all but the last 2 miles being good roads. Last 2 miles are 2-5 MPH max.
