Overall Rating
A little farther up the canyon from Aspen Campground is another nice National Forest campground. Well maintained. Some sites are tucked among aspens, some among furs, some in the sun. There are a few pull-throughs, some double-wides (for $16/night) and many that are better for smaller rigs and tent camping. A camp host is on site. I was there mid-week, at the end of August, and nearly all the sites were reserved for the next weekend and Labor Day weekend, so the place isn't and undiscovered gem.
