Overly cool place if you are into dirt bikes etc. great electric but no real shade (today, they have trees planted) so use AC during the summer months. We found the water pressure to be a bit low but usable. Note is 25 for non sewer sites and 30 for Full hookup. We are 42 with another 11ft and we are almost to big for site 25 so I am not sure how this is 100ft as advertised on the website.

This appears to be a newer county park that caters to off-road vehicles (lots of trails all around that leave directly from the campground). The sites are all gravel, fairly level, and big-rig friendly. Half the sites are FHU (20/30/50a) and half are water/elec only. All are pull-thru and some grass has been planted so that it doesn't completely seem like a gravel parking lot. The showers were new and clean. It was a bit confusing coming in because the road looks like it is taking you to a BMX dirt bike track, and then you have to go through a big parking area before seeing a sign pointing to the campground. The park website indicates sites are FC/FS, and a woman in the county office said the same thing. However, there was a sign at my site indicating the site was reservable...so, who knows? We were here for one night on a Monday and there was hardly anyone here. I imagine the weekends are busy, though, with off-roaders. The roads to the sites run east/west which means that half the sites will get a full western sun and there is no shade. Some trees have been planted but it will be quite a while before anyone gets the benefit of those.
It is near Hwy 20 and the camphost was friendly and helpful. It worked well for us for an overnight, and I imagine that off-roaders would have a blast. Verizon signal was strong: 39 down and 9 up with our Max Transit Duo.
