Gulf Waters RV Resort

This is a well designed gorgeous owner campground. The foliage is mostly mature and sites are generous. Each site has a different amenity, outdoor kitchen , grill, furniture etc. You can walk 1/4 mile to the beach. Beach is beautiful btw. WiFi was very strong and able to use Roku. People are very friendly. Camp grounds Are spotless. Downside is you are a guest, not an owner. No access to clubhouse. Pool and hot tub were closed while we were there. And yet, charged a resort fee. The community room is in the office building, houses a gym, library and dining table filled with Amazon packages in ONE room. The laundry room is small with few washers and dryers for a large resort. Wasnt the best value. Port Aransas is bikeable, we rode our e-bikes on the wide berm. Cute little town.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Waters RV Park in Port Aransas TX. We stayed in site 747 that offered a covered patio and covered grill area, and big wide RV sites with concrete pads, extra parking and nice landscaping and palm trees. The beach boardwalk was only steps away from our site. It was so nice to be able
to walk on the beach at any time with easy access and showers to wash off with afterwards. The resort has a heated pool, hot tub and activity center too. Super nice big showers, fast internet and cable. We rented a golf cart to ride around the resort, city of Port Aransas and the beach. Our site had a nice grassy area for the dogs as well. Very private and quite resort! Lots of restaurants close by. We will definitely be back!

This is an actual RV resort. All concrete pads and drives. Plants, grass, and trees are beautifully landscaped. Small ponds all around. And the gulf coast was outstanding. Check in was quick. Staff was nice and will help you park. 2 pools and public buildings well kept. WiFi was good. ATT and T Mobile both have good speeds. They also have cable. About 20-25 mins from Corpus Christi main city area. Plenty of restaurants and stores around if you don't want to go to the city. If you have an older camper they may ask to see a picture to make sure it's well maintained. GREAT PLACE.

Sandwiched between the high end Cinnamon Shores North and South is The Gulf Waters RV resort! Full hook up sties located between manicured lawns and palm trees!!! Most sites have an outdoor gazebo with kitchen and seating area! The Lake sites have an amazing view and the park is a few steps from the sandy beaches! Wiffi in each site and 4-5 bar cell reception!!!
Swimming pool, jacuzzi and impecable bathrooms with showers.
Sites are book all year long so if you see one that’s open JUMP ON IT!!!!

My family and I love to stay here, this is our second time this year and wont be our last. The park is super clean and all the staff members we felt with were super helpful and friendly. Check in process was pretty easy, follow the arrows and stop at the line that says stop, then you are lead to your site. We rode out hurricane Hanna in the park on July 25th 2020 as soon as the storm had passed the staff was out cleaning up and with in a couple days had everything pretty much picked up. The pool was nice and clean and it has adult swim times twice a day. Laundry and restroom/showers were very clean. It is very easy to get spoiled at this park, we will continue to be repeat guests. We met a lot of people that became fast friends.

We enjoyed this park due to its cleanliness, access to the beach and services. Our site was close to the boardwalk and it was just a few minutes to the sand. We had no road noise - just the Gulf. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The laundry was fine. Sites and park was clean. There was a terrific tamale van coming through on the weekend, so we had ready made lunch that day.

Negatives were there is one trash bin at the gate so it was quite a walk to get rid of our trash. There’s not much grass or other areas outside of the little strips between sites to take your dog. You can, however, take your dog on the beach on leash.

Sites are owned by people who then rent them out through the office, and I agree it’s geared a bit less toward families. We had a great time here with our dog.
