Quiet location on a Sunday night with all sites open accept one. Level location for my tent. Close proximity to drinking water and clean pit toilets. Ample space to park. Picnic table and fire ring. Large dumpster for trash. Bring DEET spray!

We do a lot of State Forest camping and this was our first time here. It’s now on the favorites list! Quiet little lake. No real swimming area, but a dip at the launch area was just fine. Sandy bottom and enough to cool off and freshen up. Sites are nicely separated so you’re not overhearing your neighbors conversations. Not a lot of b... more

If you are looking for great outdoor recreation, and don't mind foregoing the amenities, this is a wonderful place. It's right on a beautiful lake, has miles and miles of trails, and lots of wildlife. The sites are big and roomy, and wooded in between so that the neighbors don't feel to close. No hookups or dump.
