Level gravel driveways and pads. Campground hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. There were fireflies, singing frogs (loud at night!), woodpeckers, and my husband even saw an owl. We had water and electricity at our site. There is also a very nice dump station.

There is electric hook up and water hook up. My electric pole did not give me a choice between 20/30/50. There was only one plug.
Come prepared with food, drink and ice. It's about 10 miles of winding road to town. Although there is a gas station/convenience store about 3 miles away.
The dump station is at the main entrance. It's free to use. My cell service was good enough to watch a movie on Hulu (it poured all day on our first day) it's a good Campground and the lake is within walking distance and beautiful.

The campground is convenient to Cumberland Falls, which features the Moonbow, a nighttime rainbow. Check your calendars: if it appears it needs a full moon, clear sky and mist from the Falls. Cg is also very near homage to first kfc, complete with restaurant and museum. It was a hoot.
Public restrooms were spotless, the hosts were friendly and it was extremely quiet. Don’t worry if you get there late. They were not using a gate.
One suggestion to vendor: you are outside the norm by not distributing a hand-out with area amenities.

Peaceful park with nice sites, although I wouldn't pick this site again with our trailer. You had to back up a hill over a speed bump to get into the site. Not that big a deal but there were plenty of easier sites that we could have chosen. Also the B loop bathhouse doesn't have showers so we had to go to the A loop to get a shower.... more

But enough of the minor complaints, this was a very level and wide site that was very peaceful and had nice separation for the nearby sites. The bathhouses were clean and pretty well maintained with plenty of hot water.

It’s pricey for Forest Service, but one of the better concession operated campgrounds. $16 for the site, plus $10 for electricity gets you on site water, a dump and three bars of LTE. Most of the sites are level enough for a MH that does not have levelers. With the geezer card, it’s $18 a night for W&E. Compared to a private campground, the price is about the same as a half-price rate, but you have a spacious site in the woods.
