That’s the right road, off Hwy 16 turn on FS 403. You can boondock along the FS 403 just watch for the signs that show area closed and make sure you park on a solid spot. Rain and snow can bury you up fast

I don’t remember exactly the road number but the dispersed camping is on a gravel road that ran directly off of Route 16. It’s about a mile long before there is a cattle gate, which you can open and continue on down. There is dispersed camping on either side of the gate. I believe it was 403 but I’m not positive. But it’s the first dispersed camping you come to on the left side of the Hwy as you come into the National Forest from Buffalo. There is a break check area just prior to the turn off.
