“Clean but loud”

Beautiful spot right on the river, High enough that it shouldn’t flood. Traffic driving through can be noisy at times and the coal train is loud. Staff were extremely friendly and there was no issue with other campers. WiFi is slow and crashes a lot and there is no cell phone service, so bring a nice book.

Nice family run campground on a beautiful river. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Nice camp store. Bathrooms are clean and modern. RV sites have all utilities including TV (but who would want it in this beautiful area!). The sites are small and the campground is nestled between a road and a moderately busy train track... more

“Clean but loud and dull”

They do keep it very clean. The staff is super nice. It's small with only back ins. It's nestled between a busy back road and a constantly used railroad track. Very loud. Zero cell service. Analog poor cable. Useless wifi. I just think it should be half this price. There's nothing around there to do.
