“It’s very pretty without real privacy’s ”

We stayed here while we worked for Amazon during November and December. It’s very pretty setting with the campground next to the lake. I imagine it gets pretty busy during the summer months.

The sites are electric and water only but a dump station is on the property. Sites are either gravel pads or cement pads, relatively close together but not right on top of each other. Half of the campground is treed while the other half open. There is laundry, clean bathrooms with showers, putt putt course, church service, and a lot of nice hiking trails. Of course there is a boat launch as well.

We enjoyed our stay here and would use it again if we came back to Amazon. It’s pretty laid back at that time of the year. If you do visit, be sure to check out the dam and visitors center a bit past the state parks entrance.

Gypsy Boots would stay here again

“It’s a pretty area but just okay campground ”

We stayed here while we were working at Amazon. The staff was very accommodating but the park was surprisingly not very clean. Trash in fire pits and such however the bathrooms were very clean. The campground is right on the lake and it’s beautiful but I imagine it can get pretty busy here over the summer months. Keep in mind we were here November - December so mostly just people who worked at Amazon were camped here. I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if I worked another peak season.

I listed the normal rate above since we did not pay for our site. Some of the sites have gravel pads and some have cement pads. Half the campground has trees and the other half nine. In general the sites are open and not private. Sites are relatively close together but with some space. There is laundry, putt putt golf course and lots of nice hiking trails. Very clean bathrooms with showers. The sites only have water and electric but there is a dump station on the property.

If you go, take the time to ride out to the dam and visitor center. It’s real nice!
