Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse

Whether traveling through MO or looking for a quiet get away. Check this place out. Not only can you camp but there is also space to rent a cute trailer as well as a full service B&B. Fire pit, big beautiful trees, gorgeous sunset over the farm fields. If camping there are water & elect hook-ups. Host was extremely friendly & helpful. We highly recommend & will make it one if our return visits.

Very quiet. You can hear the birds. We were in the middle of a corn field with some big trees nearby. But it wasn’t difficult to get there from the highway.

Our hosts were nice, kind people.

Partial hookups. Nearest dump station is down the highway at a loves but not too far.

Very popular for people doing a one night stay but we enjoyed our week. If you are staying more than a day or two, highly recommend spot 3 which offers more privacy.

Only downside is that it was cash only.

No problems with streaming or video calls on AT&T or Verizon. AT&T - 8 mbps down. Verizon - 10 mbps down.

Yes a beautiful place, and wonderful hosts. However no sewer hookup! They have a bathroom inside the red brick house, but if you have your own toilets you had better not outstay your sewer tank space. Surprise: no RV camp, just a 30/50 amp electric and water going to a spot in the driveway. Room for 1RV only, plus tents. Our dog loved running free when there.

Oh my goodness, we loved our experience here - and our pup absolutely loved all the land to run and play on!! You're surrounded by wide open spaces and a peaceful, calming environment. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The hosts were so kind + helpful (and gave us fresh veggies from their garden, which was such a kind treat)!! We do recommend site 3 as it's furthest away from all other sites, if you're wanting more space. We would definitely stay here again!

Our first night’s stop on our way from Tennessee to Montana I found this place on Campendium and called. They had a spot for us and one for our friends traveling with us. When we got there we were so impressed with the beauty and peacefulness. The owners Annette and Kenton are super nice and their place is immaculate. It’s just far enough from I70 to be very quiet but close enough to be convenient for an overnight traveling spot. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here while traveling from east to west on I-70. It is very convenient to the interstate and there is a Pilot fuel stop at the same exit.
The hosts are absolutely wonderful. Our travel day turned into a very long day. We arrived around 7:30 pm. We had plans to eat at their BBQ restaurant, but since we were arriving so late and leaving early- we were going to make something quick and simple in the camper. We were about 1 hour from the B&B, I -70 was shut down due to an accident. This caused us to arrive later than planned. The hosts offered to get us dinner from their BBQ restaurant and have it for us when we arrived. That was the biggest blessing and most thoughtful action ever!! It was so appreciated after a very very long travel day. The hosts go above and beyond, have a beautiful piece of property, and offer an unique camping experience that is hard to find! This is a special place. Wish we could have stayed longer!
