“Good passing through campground”

Overall Rating

The campground is separated into two parts, divided by the highway. If you stay here, get the river side, it is worth the noise from the highway. We stayed in campsite 11, which is on the river side of the campground. Our site was large and included a bear box, table, and fire pit. They are doing construction on the road above the campground and as a result, this and another campground next door are temporarily closed.

“Road Noise!”

Overall Rating

This is a nice campground, well maintained, with very clean bathrooms. The problem is road noise. You often have to accept some road noise camping in narrow passages that follow rivers, but this campground is directly adjacent to US 191, and just too much. I later camped at Red Cliff up the road, which was much better. Zero ATT signal.
