“Yellow jackets”

This place works if you just need a place to park, and don’t want to sit outside. On the plus side, this site is great for solar and Starlink. If that’s you, try and grab the southwest corner of the lot for best results.

“No bathroom facilities.”
Reviewed 4/2/2022
They took out the bathrooms and now there is crap and toilet paper all over the forest behind where the used to be. Also some are defecating on the parking lot. WTF authorized the removal? It's not a toxic waste site.

A basic black top lot but very close to Lake of the Woods. There is actually a trail head here and the trail will take you into Rainbow Bay (under 2 miles). Great reception and FREE (other sites close to the lake are $25 a night). There are pit toilets too although they are currently closed due to COVID

Lot is HUGE and there is plenty of space. Super level but watch out for the huge pothole when you come in. Unfortunately the bathrooms have been closed due to COVID, so there is human sh*t everywhere. Lots of dog poo too, like right on the trail. There’s a trail that will take you to Rainbow Bay, lake of the woods, about 1 1/2 miles long. It has a couple information stations on it, which I think is really cool!
Truckers coming through at all points of the night so beware you may be woken up. And watch out for the bees!
Verizon and ATT cell service LTE
Free potable water down the street and a dump for $10
This lot is used for winter sports and requires a pass Nov1-April1.

I was the only person camping here in mid-May. There was some traffic on the highway, and many trucks stopped in for a 15-minute break, but it was quiet at night. Commercial vehicles are prohibited from overnighting.
Verizon 4G was great, with 4 bars, -94dB, 21 Mbps down and 17 up. There are bathrooms on site, but I didn't check them out. There is a dump station nearby at Aspen Point Campground, and a free dump station at Moore Park in Klamath Falls.
