Great Meadow Campground

The park was easy to find. It is located just off of highway 202. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. Be aware, there are NO CREDIT or DEBIT CARD sales. CASH ONLY. If you plan to leave the park during your stay, a cash deposit is required for a gate card. The rules are fairly basic.

The interior roads are a mix of pavement and dirt all in poor condition. Our site, 1, was a pull through that was barely long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is very close for a rural park. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat side to side but heavily sloped forward.

There is park included wifi but we were not given a logon password thus no comment on it’s performance. There is cable TV but a box is necessary (requires a deposit from the camp operator). We found a number of OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult in some sites because of trees.. We did not use the washrooms or showers nor did we check on their condition. We did see some seasonal units that were very trashy.

There is a pool, playground and other amenities but we did not have time to check any of them out.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores.

The park is an overnighter only.. We paid $45.00 per night and we feel we received poor value. We will not be back.
