This is in my top 5 camp sites. We were in spot 55 and 33. Both had tons of vegetation for privacy. The staff was excellent. We had no noise issues and the facilities were spotless.

Great little place to stay with all the hook ups and slides were very clean. Plenty of trees and shrubbery around for privacy.

Super nice registration staff. Had space 10 which was easy to back in. Great secluded space, even though close together there is great vegetation between spots. Even though late November still had to watch for snacks

The beach was about 3/4 mile from our campsite, so we either rode our bikes or drove there every day. The water was chilly, but not awful at that time of year. As mentioned by others, there are great bike paths all around the area.
We stayed in the newer loop and didn't have any issues with it not feeling private enough. The folks around us were considerate and there were a fair amount of trees and bushes around us. We used the washer and dryer in our loop a couple times, which was super-convenient. Our site was level and easy to get set up in.
The area surrounding the park could get quite congested with traffic and people -- I can't imagine 30A in the summer! We mainly just enjoyed hanging out at the gorgeous beach and riding our bikes.
It's really difficult to get reservations, but go for it. So worth it! Watch the site lengths, particularly in the older loop. The sites there look much more private and are lovely, but some of them didn't look nearly large enough to accommodate a large 5th wheel or a Class A unit. Most would have been fine for our 26-ft camper, but that would have been the limit for several of them.

Stayed here the week before Christmas 2021. We got lucky with the weather as we could walk barefoot on the beach most nights after 9pm. Decent privacy between sites, and plenty to do locally on the 30A. Staff was great, facilities were well maintained.

The campground is one of the best if not the best we’ve stayed at. Most sites in the second loop (the one closest to the water) offer a lot of privacy due to heavy foliage and space, fantastic tree canopy, and full hookups. If you’re lucky enough to get a water site, you’ll have amazing views of the lake and white sand dunes, and you’ll have direct lake access for your water toys. We got site 20 and loved it. We think 28 and 26 are also among the best sites. Flat, compacted sand road to get to theses sites, but no problems even after torrential rains. Bathrooms were clean and functional. You have a very short drive or bike ride to the beach area in the park. Bikes are a must. This whole Gulf area has been developed for bikes. Seaside is just a mile away via paved and comfortable bike paths. Grayton Brewery is also a super short bike ride away. Tons of miles of flat but pretty bike/hiking trails in nearby Point Washington State Forest. Publix, Walmart 15 minutes away by car. It’s Florida, so tons of cranky people around, including some at welcome office, but the area is so pretty you don’t mind. (These cranky people also eat well below salt levels so most restaurant food is bland. Carry your own salt or sauce ;) )

The staff was super nice, bathrooms were cleaned daily. Dump station on the way out. My only issue was with the people across from us and their barking dogs! 3 little ankle biters that barked at everything and everyone.

The beach is a quick 2-3 minute drive from the campground and there is a large parking lot there. The beach is gorgeous with soft white sand and clear water. The beach was mostly empty during our December stay, although we didn’t have the best beach weather.
The towns on 30A are adorable and idyllic. We recommend checking out the food trucks that are all in old airstreams in Seaside and the farmers market on Sundays in Rosemary Beach. You are also about halfway between Destin and Panama City Beach if you need any big box stores.
We had great service with Verizon and AT&T, with Verizon winning out with more consistent speeds for working. However both were fine for general internet needs and even streaming.
