Grafton Notch Campground offers a quaint experience just minutes away from the Grafton Notch trailhead, perfect for hiking Old Speck and the Pates. The campground itself is meticulously maintained with clean facilities and well-kept grounds.
Pros:
Very clean and well-maintained campground.
Bathhouse facilities are pristine.
Campsites are covered in fresh pea-stone gravel, ensuring cleanliness even during wet weather.
Suitable for smaller trailers; our 22-foot micro mini fit comfortably.
Cons:
No hookups for travel trailers; large rigs may find it challenging to maneuver.
No cell service (not a bad thing) although Wi-Fi is available at the camp store.
Activities:
Proximity to hiking trails like Old Speck and the Pates.
Nature walks and scenic drives in the surrounding area.
Recommendation:

Grafton Notch Campground offers a delightful retreat amidst Maine's natural beauty. Recently upgraded with pea-sized gravel campsites, it ensures a mud-free experience even during rainy days. Perfect for nature enthusiasts, it's a quaint spot without hookups, ideal for a serene getaway. Our two-night stay was comfortable, and exploring nearby swimming holes added to t Cuz he fun. Highly recommended for a peaceful camping adventure!
