Overall Rating
Great campground as a whole. Sites are Geared a little more for campers but overall fine for tents. Hosts are nice folks. Right next to the road but the roads not super busy so very little disturbance there. Would highly recommend

This is a great spot for an overnight, or longer if you want to just relax and enjoy the outdoors away from cell phones. The nearest cell service is about 20 miles away. This is a great spot for an overnight, or longer if you want to just relax and enjoy the outdoors away from cell phones. The nearest cell service is about 20 miles away. Great access from I-70 via Gooseberry road, which is paved. The sites are close to Gooseberry road, which gets a fair amount of traffic (a car every few minutes) but that all quiets down at dark. We stayed on a Sunday night and there were just two other campers in the campground. At $5 with the senior pass it was a ridiculous bargain.

Overall Rating
A nice off the road campground with 13 single sites and 1 group site. Vault toilets and water fill stations located throughout the campground. A small creek runs along both sides of the campground. Nicely kept area and reasonably priced.

We stopped one night midweek. Only one other camper. Pleasant site with aspens and stream.. Probably filled with ATVs on weekends.
