Wondering if sites are long enough for big rigs ie: 42' 5th wheel? No mention of site length on the Goose Lake State...

The spaces are paved, level, wide, and there are several that can accommodate bigger rigs. All the spaces have 20 amp and water, and there is a dump station at the entrance. The grounds have many mature trees with expansive green areas with benches. Hiking trails meander around the campground and state park. All of the trails and open areas are immaculately kept. When we arrived in mid-August we were literally the only ones in the park (besides the host). It is truly a hidden treasure.

We had a fun time exploring the Applegate and Lassen trails. We drive to Fort Bidwell for lunch. With all the snow and rain it was quite stunning.
The campground is sparsely used and we enjoyed the quiet privacy.
Nice hookup for 20amp, water at site. The sewer dump is level and easy to access.
We will camp here again.

There are no sewer hookups but there’s a dump station at the park so no big deal. We were amazed at all of the Robins in the campground! I have never seen so many in one place. It was the middle of September but the number of nests we found lead me to believe they’re at least somewhat permanent residents. The sky was so dark it would be a great place during a meteor shower.

Clean, quiet lightly used campground. Even at 5pm on a Friday there were plenty of spaces to choose from. Rates are $27 for residents and $34 for non OR residents.

Located just a hair across the CA/OR border off Hwy 395, it’s not a heavily used campground. We heard the most campers registered at one time in the whole history of the park was 15. And there are about 40 sites for tents, trailers, and RVs. Big rigs can easily fit in most spaces. We’re 40’ long and our car still fits in the space in front of the rig.
Hiking trails, tons of bird watching, perfect Spring weather, prairie dogs scurrying around, and very few people make this ideal in my book!
$30/night is totally worth it. All sites have 20Amp service (#15 has 30Amp) and water. There’s a dump station available near the park entrance.
Shower and restrooms are immaculate! Chris, the camp host, is super friendly and welcoming.
Goose Lake is mostly dried up but it’s still pretty marshy and the birds love it. I’m pretty sure we’ll come back here anytime we happen to be in this remote area.

We only stayed for one night but it was great. There was only a couple other campers when we stayed but the spots felt a good amount spaced out and there was a couple nice walking trails in the area. Bathrooms and campground were both very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Sites are nicely spaced under lots of trees. The campground is well maintained with showers and wood for sale. The park ranger told us that they are never full - there is always room. No spectacular view or anything, but a really very pleasant place to overnight.

We enjoyed our first trip to Oregon. We had a large 20 amp site and a peaceful setting. Beautiful pastures and sunsets. Bathrooms were mildewed and smelly and caught 3 frogs in the shower. We enjoyed our time here!

Was looking for a dump station on our way home from visiting Modoc County and were struggling to find one the public could use. Located Goose Lake State Park, just off the highway 395. Dump station is at the park entrance, open to the public, in great shape, and they have a donation box. Sign states all monies collected will be used to maintain the dump station. They also have potable water. Nice Find when you are rolling with full tank :)
