“Busy, hot, windy, dusty”

We were here in the second week of September. Temperatures were still in the high 90s during the day but did cool off at night (10:00 or later). This campground is very convenient to Arches, Moab and reasonably to Canyonlands. All good. This campground is VERY busy. Best advice, if you want a site, get there around 9:00 in the ... more

“Lovely riverside site!”

We loved our spot and all the things other people have mentioned. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Some funny things about this area...helicopter tours fly right in front of campsite dos canyon...only twice in 4 days. Nightly there is a boat tour that goes up and down the river that is accompanied by a 40,000 watt light truck that... more

“It’s not a secret but if you get lucky you’ll find a spot here.”

Last year we tried to stay at this BLM site with no luck. We showed up early last year but had to go up the river to a different camping site. That being said we tried again this year and made claim on this site and we’re glad we were lucky enough to stay here. It was $15 dollars a night and we were right on the river. It has a fire pi... more

“Beautiful campground on the river”

Reviewed Feb 17, 2018

Stayed two nights here on the Colorado river. Friendly camp host, large site and wasn’t busy when we arrived at 2 pm being the off season. Clean vault toilets. No water or hookups. Excellent bike path running through the campground makes for a great short ride into downtown. Access pass is accepted making it only $7.50/... more

“Beautiful spot”

Reviewed Dec 02, 2017

Overall Rating

Gorgeous place. Not far from town. Directly on the river. Toilet is clean. Sites are huge. Only complaint, and only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, adjacent road is a little busier and louder than my liking. Other than that, awesome spot.

Wonderful - stayed there two different times last summer. Half price with national pass, so it makes it very affordable. Check my blog for further info and a photo of my campsite. http://landcruisingadventure.blogspot.mx/2015/09/return-to-moab.html
