The resort is gated and mail/packages are welcomed to be sent here. Numerous services are within 5-10 minute drive. Recycling is provided but the dumpster is frequently overflowing resulting in a poor appearance.

Stayed a few nights here. All the staff was wonderful. They just did a weird thing re: spraying to control weeds. They issued warnings a few days earlier, to the day of, about spraying for weeds, to keep pets inside, etc. to as not to be exposed to the chem. The day of spraying, they sprayed chem on sites actively occupied by folks staying there, rather than do the empty sites first, then spray after folks checked-out(?). The chem was water-based, but created a mess on carpets and anything outside (even sprayed my truck). This could have been way better managed.

We stayed here last winter with our RV. December 1 2019 through March 1, 2020. I was worried at first I might get bored staying in 1 place so long. No chance! So much going on all the time and the staff is excellent. People are so friendly and there is lots of privacy too. The spots are a little tight getting into if you are experienced at backing up but there are plenty of folks to help you out. Each site is plenty wide enough to set up an area outside. Each site has shrubbery between them for privacy.
We were planning on going back this winter but with the virus we opted out. We transferred our reservation to 2021. Hemet isn't known for being the best area, but this park is on the outskirts and we had no problem. It is manned 24/7 with security too.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities close by including Target, WINCO, Sprouts, Walmart so you can buzz out to shop close by.
Since we were there so long we got a wifi connection through Spectrum, they had a special for anyone in the park. When we first got there the park wifi was ok, but as more people moved in it got harder and harder, hence we purchased our own plan. No contracts, just month to month. Verizon phone coverage was good, but not good enough to stream.

We retired out of Temecula. We'd driven thru this area many times over the years without realizing there was even a park here (even though it has its own dedicated stop light). When we visit the Temecula area, we have two parks we generally use. Both have shortcomings. A third, our favorite, a little known gem on the shores of Lake Elsinore, was booked solid. So we thought we'd try Golden Village Palms. What a great find! We took advantage of a special rate ($139/week) for a very nice back-in site. (We were given a couple of sites to choose from, which I really appreciated.) The park is huge, with a lot of different types of sites, many recently renovated. This is an 'active adults' park. Kids are allowed for up to 2 weeks so they can babysit their grandparents. Visiting kids are restricted to certain areas & must be supervised. Our site backed up to Devonshire road. Traffic noise could be an issue unless you employ white noise. Wifi was taxed when park was heavily occupied. Our initial 2 week stay evolved into a 3 months (constructing a home in nearby Murrieta). We found the staff to be excellent. The local communities are lower socioeconomic. Nearby Temecula & Murrieta offer a tremendous variety of shopping & recreational activities. If you are so inclined, the outstanding 412 church, associated with Calvary Chapel, is nearby.

The negatives: The free WiFi is fairly useless. We were visiting friends who had their own internet so we used their hot spot. We barely fit in our site and we were parked half on broken concrete and half off. The roads are a bit narrow for large rigs. Lots of homeless and other interesting folks in the area although we never felt in danger.

This WAS a fantastic location. After staying here with my wife who is a nurse for nearly a year we were forced to leave the park. The reason being we complained that they were charging us & all the SR Citizens premium prices & refusing to refund any part of our rent after they closed ALL amenities (pools, bathrooms, gym, laundry, etc) & continued to invite more guests at a discounted rate and advertise those amenities. In an effort to politely communicate with the new park manager (Jim) about the subject, he refused to discuss. His own employees even stated how rude, racist & sexist he is. After being polite & civil didn’t gain any ground, we filed a complaint. Instead of getting any response from management or corporate, we got notice from the front desk that we were no longer allowed to stay in the park & they forcefully removed a Nurse (during the pandemic) from the park whom not only befriended everyone in the park, but also cared for other guests in an emergency situation

Life's Little Adventures: A Short Move to Hemet, CA
We spent 12 nights at Jojoba Hills, maxing out our allowed 28 nights per year, and we didn’t do one single hike. In fact we didn’t even walk much, but we did play pickleball every day and loved it....
