The 20amp plug that I had was sloppy, but may have been because of my heavy surge protector. Train was a bit noisy but it’s close to highway. Site was pretty unlevel, took a while to get our RV close to level.
Dump station was busy in the morning before checkout. Wood is $13.40 for 5 small bits, probably the most expensive I’ve brought!
Drop the prices a bit and it would be worth staying again…

Beautiful location with tall pines in a shady area. Not good if you depend on your solar for power. River sites have more sun and electricity. The bathrooms in this part of the park need a major overhaul. The ones by the check in are OK. Friendly and helpful employees for checking in. They have a dump station but gets busy when leaving. We were 3rd in line at 10am. Overall great location to walk into town for a great dinner. Otherwise it's a good utility stop. Lots of train noise but I can sleep through almost anything.

Spent night here so we could check out the area. We’re from Golden, CO so wanted to see our sister city after a week in Banff and other parks. This campground has sites on the river and bike path and in another section further down the road. Sites east to get into but not much space between them. We had site 19 so we only had a small parking area on one side and another camper on the other. We had electric only, but they have water conveniently located to fill and a good dump station right near the office. It’s also located near the Golden rec center so you can go there if interested. We backed up to the walking/bike trail that led to some awesome mountain biking trails. Will definitely come back to do more and in winter to ski. We did the new attraction—the suspension bridge. They didn’t have all the other things open yet. We’re still building the mountain coaster and the canyon swing was not working. But the bridges were fun and the views were incredible. The campground has a laundry and little store. Overall it’s nice. One big thing to know…across the river is the train track. Trains are very active here so if you don’t like train noise, don’t stay here. I’d rather hear trains than the highway. Cost for one night was C$46.25 includes taxes. Used Starlink because the Wi-Fi was sketchy.

However location to walking/bike path and town made up for it. Check-in was easy and staff helpful. If we came back through this way, I would stay again but would pick site 25 or 26. Water/power sites but more trees around and prettier. There is one 50 amp site but I would advise against it because the Sani dump is so close it is almost in your site.
The town is pretty and easy to walk to from campground.
Most previous reviews complained about the trains but we barely saw or heard them. The school across the street was also very quiet. It was nice to take our chairs and sit by the river for a bit.

Access to the park is easy. Road signs provide good directions from the highway. Pavement all the way.
Check in was unusual. We stopped by the office and confirmed our reservation but we had to complete the transaction outside. There is an automated check in machine that requires you to enter the same info that was provided when you booked and the same that you gave to the clerk in the office. It was still pleasant just not all that quick.
Our site, number 4, was a back in right off the street that was easily long enough for our rig and towed. The only service provided was 30 amp power located on the left side. It also came with a fire ring and table. There is no attempt to provide a buffer between sites. It is close but not quite slide to awning.
We were not able to use the internet. We were told that the atmospheric conditions (heavy smoke) was causing the signal to be poor. We did not find any OTA TV. Satellite would be difficult because of the trees. We did not use the washrooms but did a quick check. They were very clean.
We chose this park because we were expecting to arrive late because of road construction and we were able to book on line. Other parks we tried could not accommodate us in this way. If train noise bothers you do not stay here. The CP main line is very near.
We paid $45.75 per night with our GS discount. We feel the price is a little high but would probably stay again if in the area.

We were just passing through from Penticton BC to Edmonton Alberta. We stayed one night then continued the next morning.
This place is very accessible. It's right in town. The sites require you to back in from a road with a curb. The road is not subject to much traffic. Oddly enough, this campground is across from a high school. Also near by is a local swimming pool, curling club and arena. This is nice for those in big rigs because you have plenty of places to park and turn around when checking in without blocking that road for people entering and exiting the park.
Showers and bathrooms are nothing excellent but very adequate to get the job done.
You have your back along the river at most of these sites. There is a fire pit at each campsite.
The downside is that the train across the river will wake you up at night if your not insulated against noise.
All and all, we'd stay here again while passing through. I'd consider staying 2 nights to visit the area. But it's not one of those places that I want to stay for more than that.

Sites are small and relatively flat. Each site has a picnic table and a firepit. Backing up to the river with a nice walking path into town. Across the river is the train. But with no whistling trains and no braking noise, we found them very quiet (compared to Lake Lousie).
Sites vary in service from dry, 15amp and a few 30amp. We had 15 and filled with water prior to going into our site.
Laundry facilities are clean and run $2 for wash $2 for dry. We did not use the shower or bathroom facilities.
The wi-fi in the park was pretty reliable and only got bogged down in the late evening. There is a large covered picnic table area next to the office with plugs and easy access to the wi-fi. I noticed a number of tent campers there catching up with their internet there.
The office stays open until late and they sell camping items, firewood, and ice cream cones.
We walked into town and enjoyed the worlds longest covered walking bridge, some great restaurants, and even a farmers market. There are 2 grocery stores and we really liked the Sav-On just a few blocks from camp.

Camping was full, but overflow under the trees when you have a small class B or a tent is great and much cheaper that the regular sites.

Rec center paved parking lot across the street by a playground. Felt very comfortable staying there as did the other 8-10 RVers on site. Well off the highway so noise was minimal.
