We were just passing through from Penticton BC to Edmonton Alberta. We stayed one night then continued the next morning.
This place is very accessible. It's right in town. The sites require you to back in from a road with a curb. The road is not subject to much traffic. Oddly enough, this campground is across from a high school. Also near by is a local swimming pool, curling club and arena. This is nice for those in big rigs because you have plenty of places to park and turn around when checking in without blocking that road for people entering and exiting the park.
Showers and bathrooms are nothing excellent but very adequate to get the job done.
You have your back along the river at most of these sites. There is a fire pit at each campsite.
The downside is that the train across the river will wake you up at night if your not insulated against noise.
All and all, we'd stay here again while passing through. I'd consider staying 2 nights to visit the area. But it's not one of those places that I want to stay for more than that.
Alex.and.riel would stay here again

Sites are small and relatively flat. Each site has a picnic table and a firepit. Backing up to the river with a nice walking path into town. Across the river is the train. But with no whistling trains and no braking noise, we found them very quiet (compared to Lake Lousie).
Sites vary in service from dry, 15amp and a few 30amp. We had 15 and filled with water prior to going into our site.
Laundry facilities are clean and run $2 for wash $2 for dry. We did not use the shower or bathroom facilities.
The wi-fi in the park was pretty reliable and only got bogged down in the late evening. There is a large covered picnic table area next to the office with plugs and easy access to the wi-fi. I noticed a number of tent campers there catching up with their internet there.
The office stays open until late and they sell camping items, firewood, and ice cream cones.
We walked into town and enjoyed the worlds longest covered walking bridge, some great restaurants, and even a farmers market. There are 2 grocery stores and we really liked the Sav-On just a few blocks from camp.

Camping was full, but overflow under the trees when you have a small class B or a tent is great and much cheaper that the regular sites.
Very clean and central. Easy walk access to good restaurants

Rec center paved parking lot across the street by a playground. Felt very comfortable staying there as did the other 8-10 RVers on site. Well off the highway so noise was minimal.

There werent enough bathrooms for the number of people. The mens showers were more like a locker room than individual showers.
The trains are a bit noisy, but not bad during the night.
It was clean, the site was fine, the staff was friendly.

Good spot if you want to be right in town. Good cell service.
The dump station is free for anyone to use and located right in front. Thank you Golden!
