This is a family business and the staff are very helpful. The owner gave me a nut I needed to repair my trailer. Across the road from Eagle Nest Lake. The grill and store are very convenient, and the food from the grill was good and reasonably priced. Utilities all worked, with both 30- and 50-amp service. Our space was very level. The park Wi-Fi was very good.
Needs Improvement:
The spaces are pretty narrow. We had good views of the surrounding mountains, but only a peek-a-boo lake view.
Remember:
This town is at about 8,200 feet, which is below the high-altitude danger zone, but you can get mild altitude sickness at this altitude. I had a little headache the first day, but my wife was fine. If you need groceries, count on a short drive to the town of Angel Fire.

Very friendly people, that part is good. Significant problems with the check-in computer system, was not very efficient. Sites are close together and, even though there is a nearby lake and the mountains, we had no view of same.
Site was supposed to be a back-in, but all utilities were on wrong side. Pulled straight in to accommodate, but then the “view” was the gravel drive and the 5er behind us.
No big deal - only an overnight. Full hookup was appreciated. But have done a lot better for much less money. $47 a night was not good value for money.
One other thing: GPS coordinates are wrong. The location is 540 WEST Therma, not east. GPS is about a mile off.

We were traveling from Albuquerque, NM on I-25 and needed a stop over a few days before heading to Colorado Springs. I picked the first park I ran across looking at the Camping World website. The road from I-25 was over and through the Cimmeron Canyon (county rd 58). Beautiful ride on 2 lane road, but easy to manage. This is a privately owned park, with a few very, very nice local live ins. The sites are level with gravel and grass between. The bath house is spotless, the work campers, and all staff are friendly and helpful. They have Free tours by one of the locals, they have a popcorn and movie night, pot luck diner, bingo, crafts daily, flea market and lunch every Friday, the list goes on and on! It would be a fun place to live or stay the summer. The location is perfect to travel by car all around the area cities and mountains. It is beautiful here. If the park is full, you are a little close together with slides out, but still a perfect place to stay. I would definitely came here again. The view from the front of our coach is beautiful. We are in a 36 ft gas class A with a toad.
The Kings would stay here again
