Easy in and out of facility and numerous pull-thru sites. The park can handle any size RV. Restrooms were very clean despite drainage problem in the shower which overflowed to another drain. Overall peaceful but at times the freeway noise was too noticeable. The park is 75% permanent occupancy. Wireless internet had strong signal, but signal would fail and reconnect every few minutes which made streaming impossible but web browsing, email retrieval tolerable. The park is next to casino, coffee shop, Jack in the Box, Sinclair gas/store and a café (good $4.99 breakfast).
We used this location to explore other RV parks north toward Graeagle and south to North Lake Tahoe for future RV trip considerations. Would stay here again if had reason to be in the area.

Normally $45/night but was charged a premium as there was a local car event that wknd. Got the last site available which was right next to the propane tank across from the main entrance. Not desirable but served its purpose for a quick overnight stay. Noise from the highway, train went by twice overnight, and late night and early morning Jack N the Box goers can be heard ordering trough the intercom. Recommend ear plugs and eye covers for sleeping. Despite this, the bathrooms are great-clean with individual shower all to yourself. Really is ok for an overnight stay with food and gas station available close by.

Very pleased with this RV resort. We started with a 1 week reservation then extended another week because we enjoyed it so much. The resort sits at the base of a mountain with a couple gorgeous hiking trails and a creek crossing which was perfect for our dogs to let off some steam. Laundry and shower facilities were very clean. Pool and spa seem well maintained, although I did not try them out. Good mix of friendly full timers and passerby’s who take good care of their sites and don’t clutter them up. About 5 miles from McCarran Blvd that has EVERYTHING you’ll ever need (grocery, Walmart, restaurants, banks, shopping, and more). Cabela’s is a couple exits up. Couldn’t ask for a better spot! Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Driving through on our way home so only stayed 1 night. Easy access off the I-80 freeway. Nice level paved parking. Will have to come back.

Dan & Jaclyn are world travelers, having kicked the dirt in over 100 countries and sailed within all 7 seas. Currently, we are full-time location independent, perpetual travelers, roading around North America.
Driving from the CA side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Nevada side, over 1,000 miles, we were more than ready to settle down in our new home for the next few days. Pulling into the Gold Ranch at a late hour, we discovered no challenges.
WHAT OTHERS ARE LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE
Arriving long after office hours, we were able to choose our site from what was available and then were instructed by the door instructions to go to the on-property 24-hour store to settle up with the clerk. Well, we chose what looked like a premium space, double wide with large grass outdoor space. That said, the clerk only charged us for a regular spot and for that little goodness in the world, we were entirely grateful.
Our site had the 30/50 amp services, as well as water, sewer and cable. The RV resort as you will read in a moment has a heated swimming pool, hot tub, 24-hour casino, 24-hour store/gas station and a couple eaters on property.
After such a long multi day drive, we were ready for a hot shower. Running our BiG RiG dry during the winter months we were off to the bath house. On our way, we discovered an incredibly inviting heated pool and the steam filled bubbling hot tub along the way. Well, yes thence you. I believe we will!!!!!
SPECAIL EXPEREINCE
If that was not enough of a reward after a long day, how about our entering a brand new club house with laundry facilities, large screen TV area with movie options, Fireplace, Internet, and individual spa like shower rooms. Well, we were happy campers!!!!!!

We had no trouble with plenty of space for our 40' 5er. There were quite a few 44' motorhomes with towed's or trailers. There is a nice pool, hot tub, laundry, showers and there is a full service fuel station/convenience store at the entrance. The casino also has a decent diner and a good coffee shop.
The park WiFi is decent and we had no trouble watching youtube. We would definitely stay here again.

Heated pool, hot-tub, clean bathrooms. Slots casino is 2 mins walk, with a 24/7 convenience store, starbucks, restaurant, and subs. Cheap drinks too!
Very busy during the summer, so couldn't find more than one week at a time; We would definitely come back.

Easy access to Reno and the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. BTW... Lake Tahoe in the summer is perfect for swimming and has a few nice beach spots as well as the hiking we initially went for.

The roads are really wide and there is plenty of room to maneuver rigs as you drive through the park.
Each space is really long, plenty of length for most any length modern RV and their TV or TOAD.
Decent spacing between the sites and each has their own, nicely manicured grass area.
Kind of noisy as the park is right against the freeway, but the park is very clean and patrolled by the casino's security so it definitely feels safe.\
I really wish there were more trees though. A little bit of a drive from downtown Reno but you are also closer to Truckee, CA which is nice.
