The lots are spaced to give privacy, there are some lots close to the main street (VT100), but there are plenty of lots away closer to the creek and away from the noice. All COVID measures were followed, WIFI worked great, shower and pool are super clean, a bike working stand to clean and maintain our bikes etc. Close enough to get everywhere with our bicycles. Great experience and we will be back.

We stayed here one night as we were exploring the Stowe area. We experienced great customer service, great showers (although in an older bldg, but very clean) great tv connection and wifi. The laundry room looked great and the yards was freshly mowed. We have a motorhome without a tow vehicle but could easily bike the 2 miles to Stowe.

I think if we had had another option we would have taken it, but this is the only RV park in town. The state parks don't have electric hook ups and when its hot and humid you kind of need it. Sites are pretty crammed next to each other on the utility side, but we had room out our front door. Lots of grass which was nice and the kids enjoyed the pool.
Cheap laundry be warned there's only one washer and one dryer and they are fairly small. Owners were great we had no problems.

Most sites are along the edge of the property which backs to a nice stream to splash around in. Amenities include a refreshing pool which we happily took advantage of. Playground for those with children. 2 miles away from the town of Stowe. And just 15 mins from Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Each site is provided with a fire pit. Wood and Ice for purchase on site. Great open landscape on green grass sites. Level with great satellite reception. Solar panels fully charging. Staff provided great local recommendations from biking to swimming holes to breweries. Updates are being made by the family who runs this campground. Bathrooms are older but very clean. We were happy campers and will definitely be back here again!

Loved the acres of green grass here for walking around plus access down to the river. Location is convenient for access to Stowe and its a short trip over to Montpelier or Burlington. Owner was not pleasant as you'll read elsewhere but it wasn't a big deal. Road noise was present but not bad at night and not truck heavy. Verizon signal... more

Owner was not pleasant as you'll read elsewhere but it wasn't a big deal. Road noise was present but not bad at night and not truck heavy. Verizon signal was strong and speeds were sufficient for work video calls and streaming.
** Owner at our current campground informed us that Gold Brook is in foreclosure so may not be open past this season.

With that said, the place is convenient to the resort town of Stowe, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream factory is about 5 minutes down the road. Sites are nice and large, grass is very well kept, clean swimming pool, OK outdated showerhouse. Good luck finding a website for this place. The owner says he keeps it as a private "intranet" website so people can't see it ????? Might explain why in mid Aug. there were only a few other RVers there. If the owners advertised, had a public updated website and modernized the showerhouse the place would be hopping. There are really no other campgrounds in the area with services. There are two Vermont State near by but are dry camping only.
