Lots of OHV destination to explore from the Oasis to the bat caves. Host are always friendly. The on-site store is very convenient if you forgot some thing or ran out of beer! Nice to enjoy the hot springs and pools after a long day of riding. They throw a great Halloween Party both Kid and adult will enjoy the Halloween festivities! We camp here bi annually and always come home with the best memories!

The largest spaces I have every stayed in, very clean and friendly. Four pools 14 hot tubs and saunas, clorine free water, no crowds. They even rent UTVs. Resturant closed during our visit because they lost thier cook. We will be back.

We stayed just under a month in site 160, 60”x50” back-in. Full hookups with picnic table and fire pit.
There are cabins and tent camping sites. As well as smaller or even larger camping sites.
There is a coin operated laundry room, propane refills and firewood.
It’s a bit bumpy entering but mostly gravel the rest of the way. Popular area for quads/atv/dirt bikes so noise is expected, even during quiet hours. Some automatic shots off in the distance as well.
Came for the hot springs but now we want to go back for the RAZR rentals to visit the oasis and bay caves.
During the busiest weekends, you could still end up with a pool or the whole spring area to yourself. Springs close at 10pm
Make sure to hit the local driving range at the bashford billboard.

Awesome spot in the vast desert and Salton Sea. Hot springs and mineral spas and a pool. Little cafe diner also. They hand out maps for near by trails which is cool. They also rent on site cabins. Love it!

This campground is great if you require full hook-ups. The campground was recommended by friends due to its proximity to Salvation Mountain and Slab City (15 minute drive). The campground caters to ATV users (which we are not) so we expected constant ATV noise and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We stayed in spot 121 A-B and liked the views of the mountains on one side and the Salton Sea/Bombay Beach in the distance on the other side. If you prefer less congested camp spots, I would recommend spots 111-141 along Golf Course North/South or 143-154 along Park Drive/Dog Patch Lane.
The campground also includes a decent store which has specialty beers like Sierra Nevada, the nearest store in Bombay Beach had a very limited selection of Bud/Coors/Miller. Free Wifi is available but the internet signal in spot 121 A-B was very weak.
Since we don't require full hook-ups, next time we were to return to the Salton Sea area, we would stay along the Salton Sea. We checked out and liked Salt Creek ($10 a night/dry camping) or Mecca Beach ($20-$50 highly with dry/partial/full. Although, the camp host at Mecca Beach mentioned that they only have 4 full hook-up sites and that reserveamerica.gov always overbooks these, so they are not guaranteed).
