We stayed here AGAIN, this time returning with our grand nieces 7 and 9 years old. The rangers were awesome... especially Logan. She worked hard to help us when we asked to move to a bit larger site. We stayed in our 20 ft camper. Site was just the right size for that but any bigger and you would be cramped.
Walking through the campground things were well cared for and the sites were level. Many of the tent sites had platforms. We did not use the bath house but... it appeared clean.
The playground was fun for the girls. It seemed like kids 3 to 12 would be happy there. They also had toddler swings.
We took a few hours and hiked nearby Gap Mountain. It was perfect for kids and... the blueberries on the top were a good incentive!
Drawbacks?
Small sites but... well spaced
Sites could use some pruning... might open them up a bit
Denise and Steve Buck would stay here again

Our reservations were made online which made check in easy and we were greeted by helpful staff!
We only stayed one night but were tempted to stay for two. This park had the true State Park feel! It is on the smaller size but had so much to offer very near by. A hiking trail for Mount Monadnock leaves right from the park! We took advantage of the nearby lake for kayaking. It was peaceful and quiet while we were there!
Having electrical hookups in a New Hampshire State park is an unusual luxury! i believe there are at least 6 sites! The majority of the sites are dry camping. We hiked out to the remote sites... took 40 minutes!
Bathrooms... clean. Not fancy.
We live one hour away and we Will be back!
Denise and Steve Buck would stay here again
