We just finished up 8 days in this well maintained campgrounds. The setting is beautiful located in the shadow of The Catskill Mountains. The bathrooms were well maintained and even offered handicapped facilities. The sites were very spacious though some reforestation is taking place and it will be a while before some sites have shade. The lake was pristine and great for an afternoon at the beach or a kayaking excursion. We loved the many well maintained hiking trails. For those seeking some quality time away from the hustling crowds, This was perfect as there is zero internet and literally out in the middle of nowhere. My only recommendation would be to have paper towels in the restrooms so people could wipe up after themselves and a garbage pail by the dishwashing areas so people could scrape their dishes instead of leaving a mess in the sinks. We had a wonderful time and would return.

Stayed here Friday and Saturday night. Arrived after hours and was told just to pick an open site from the list and check in the following morning.
Rest rooms were very clean and well kept.
Stayed in Site #75 which had 30 AMP electric. Water is available nearby the site but can not stay attached to water since it is shared among nearby sites.
Dumping station is clean and had potable water.
Would definitely recommend if in the area.
30 minutes from Cooperstown!

My second time here (last was 10 years ago). Much improved since then. More electric sites with room between. Beautiful trail around lake. My only complaint would be that the roads and signage need improvement.

Customer service was excellent, lady in the office was very nice and offered a ton of information about the area. Our site was a bit difficult to get into. We had to pull through it instead of backing in. Luckily there was no one in the site behind us. #84 is 50 Amp electric only site. It was close to bathroom/showers which were very clean and checked twice a day. Most campers were very nice and quiet, but some of the children were loud. No satellite and very limited cell.
