The dispered camping is beside a canal.. nice spots for camping. On the other side of the canal is farmers field with bird cannons going off every 20mins. Also a gravel road next to field with noisy 4 wheelers all day. Then there is the shooting range not far away. Oh and the trains ... Not an ideal spot if you are looking for tranq... more
The dispered camping is beside a canal.. nice spots for camping. On the other side of the canal is farmers field with bird cannons going off every 20mins. Also a gravel road next to field with noisy 4 wheelers all day. Then there is the shooting range not far away. Oh and the trains ... Not an ideal spot if you are looking for tranquility. On the bright side there are quail and other bird varieties. ... And Fortuna hill shopping not far away.

Reader board sign of a week ago (facing away from the entrance from US95) says "State Property...No Camping". No one chasing us out yet. Third hand, I hear this is to be a staging area starting 3/2013 for expansion of US95
