This was an easy overnight stop on our way to Pegosa Springs. We have a 27 foot airstream and we parked in the first spot on the left when you turn into the area. Super easy.

We didn’t stay but checked out the first two spots while we were passing by on the way to Pagosa Springa. The first spot would be fine for an overnight but getting level might be an issue. The second spot, about 1/2 mile from the road was flat, great views, very windy, and zero cell service. The road is single lane but there are pullouts just in case you meet someone coming the other way. The roads, especially as you enter the second camping spot by the trailhead is very rutted and you’ll need to be careful and go slow with whatever you’re in. I would definitely stay at either spot.

For a big Rig only the first spot is really suitable - which was perfectly fine for us.
