We had a great stay at Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA Holiday in Gettysburg, PA.
We stayed in a level pull-thru site (#14) with deluxe picnic table, swinging Adirondack glider, and fire pit . The site was big enough for our motor home and Jeep. Full hook-ups with 50-amp service. Lots of mature shade trees made the site more comfortable given the July heat. The paver patio with seating and natural landscaping with well-placed boulders made it quite comfortable.
Wow, what a great place to stay when visiting the town of Gettysburg and nearby battlefields. From the escort to our site and friendly interactions with the staff, we immediately felt at home. The site was covered with clean gravel (which I like to keep sand and dirt outside), the camp store was well-stocked, the pool was inviting, the utilities all worked great, daily trash collection was convenient, immaculate landscaping, and a 2:00 PM check-out make this place a gem when visiting the Gettysburg area. Just 15-minutes to historic sites, restaurants, and breweries. Everything seemed clean and well-maintained.
Bottom Line: This is a great campground in a great location and we can’t wait to go back!
THINGS I ESPECIALLY LIKED:
1. Beautifully landscaped site
2. Well maintained and clean campground
3. Close to town of Gettysburg and battlefields

The campground was nice and clean & well maintained! The staff at the little store was very helpful & friendly. The store had lots of little things to buy, things you might need and they sold ice cream. The pool was nice but the water was slightly discolored. The bathrooms were very nice with plenty of space for hanging your items and such. The parking tenets were a little controlling and it took lots of patience to deal with them while they directed us as we parked the camper
The have fun games to play near the pool such as checkers, chess, shuffle board, connect four & corn hole. They also have workout machines near the pool and a nice little nature walk on the campground.

This campground is landscaped well with boulders and foliage. However, it is all gravel (white rocks) with no grass. We were told that our dog would have to go down the hill to use the bathroom in a specific fenced in area which was pretty far from our site. Obviously, our dog did not understand that she would have to hold "it" until we walked down the hill. There is a lower campground that seemed to have grass but very few people were parking there. The sites are VERY close together and there is no privacy. Our site was so small we did not have anywhere to sit except at the picnic table. The fire pit was so close to the camper that we were afraid to use it. The staff there are very nice. Easy drive to battlefield and town.

The WIFI was great and we also jad great cell service despite being out in the countryside.
We would definitely recommend this campground and would stay here again.

This campground is pretty, the staff is excellent. We had neighbors with dogs that yipped constantly and the two of them just did not shut up. We should have asked to be moved.
The staff recommended a place to eat dinner that was amazing.

Great KOA! Camped here twice. Close to Gettysburg and the National Military Park. Mostly completely shaded sites. Nice amenities. Weekend games for the kids. New playground. Nice pool. Well stocked store and very friendly staff. WIFI is very good. AT&T had fast data speeds.
