Traveling from Foss OK to Louisville KY and booked GHRR as a midway point. Couldn't reserve online, and it did take a couple of calls to get in touch with someone but she was super helpful and attentive. I Explained I had a teardrop and just wanted a 30 amp hookup for one night so she gave me a "small camper" discount, which was much appreciated. There were flood warnings at the time all throughout MO and IL, and she did tell me there was the potential for the road into the campground to flood. Not the campground itself, but the main road in. They had apparently dealt with the Gasconade rising before and had it down to a science, including how high it would have to get for that to happen, when it might happen, and how long it would take to recede. I booked it as it appeared the water wouldn't be an issue based on their advice and the forecast. Campground is only a couple of miles from I-44, but there was no noticeable road noise of any kind. Site was mostly level with good access to hookups. Maybe 100 feet to the bank of the river, which was indeed, running like crazy due to the rain. Didn't use the bath facilities so I can't comment. Cell with ATT was basically just talk and text, but the campground WiFi had a decent signal. I left the next morning before 5am, and a 50 foot section of the main road was already underwater about 6-8 inches as the river came up faster than expected. If I had waited till later in the morning, I might have been spending another night in MO, but things like that can't always be predicted. Very friendly and accommodating owners, nice facilities and great proximity to the river. Would book again if in the area.

We didn’t intend to stay here. But our original plans fell through. With no notice this place took us in. Because they saved the day we went ahead and booked 3 nights instead of the 1 we originally planned.
Appears to have about 30 sites. Both back in and pull through. Full hook ups. We have 30 amp and it worked flawlessly. Bathhouse had 2 showers.
Campground is located on a river and had canoes and kayaks.
We would stay here again.
